REDUCT
& Lobbe has developed a range of intelligent products and development tools that allow
us to offer you complete solutions. The development tools in REDUCT Decision Suite (DataLogic, RuleDesigner)
are used to extract and create rules from your data. These rules, along with any
expert knowledge available, are then added to DEForecaster
to create your decision support system.
The REDUCT Process Suite extends
decision support to real-time industrial processes: process management and
optimization (Optim/RT), virtual sensors (VirtualAnalyzer), and production scheduling (SchedulingExpert).
In 2006, REDUCT developed a new software Optim.NET. Optim.NET extends current Optim/RT functionalities by integrating all process data management and decision support information with Microsoft SQL Server 2005, and by providing full Web reporting capabilities for process diagnosis, control and optimization at different plant management levels. Optim.NET supports Microsoft Window XP and Microsoft Windows Server 2003
operating systems.

DATALOGIC: a professional tool for knowledge
acquisition, classification, predictive modelling, expert system development and database
"mining". DataLogic extracts rules from databases by finding the best
representation for the knowledge. |

RULEDESIGNER: reasons about complex objects using
distributed, cooperative intelligent agents (distributed reasoning).
It uses established rules (see Data Mining) to discover new knowledge or patterns
not present in historical data. |

FORECASTER: for prediction
and forecasting of new outcomes/decisions/goals using a multi-criterion approach. These
systems reason about new objects or situations using approximate
reasoning, tell the user when the models (rules) are no longer applicable, and
determine when the rules should be updated.

| Process Optimization: |
Optim/RT: an
integrated computer software solution for supervisory control and optimization based on
historical production data and knowledge. These systems provide operators with
advice on different strategies available to address process upsets, options and tradeoffs
for optimizing production cost and product quality, and the best approaches to real-time
process management.

| Virtual Sensors: |
VirtualAnalyzer: provides on-line, real-time critical
process information by using a combination of available process measurements and advanced
modelling technologies. These systems diagnose/validate on-line measurements and
predict key product/process parameters. |
| Scheduling: |
SchedulingExpert: generates an optimum sequence
of jobs for continuous production lines and different grades of product while taking into
account resources and production constraints. These systems offer an innovative
approach to building production schedules while considering a number of production and
order constraints. |
