What is it? DataLogic/R is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) based software designed to perform multiple tasks in data analysis, knowledge discovery and reasoning from data. DataLogic/R is based on a new, proprietary AI approach to working with imprecise, incomplete and inconsistent data. The key idea behind DataLogic is that generalization of information helps to uncover regularities and knowledge in data. DataLogic provides rigorous mathematical techniques for generalization of information in data and for analysis of knowledge contained in databases.
What does it do? DataLogic extracts knowledge from disorganized, incomplete and ambiguous data and presents this knowledge in the form of simple rule statements. It does this by eliminating superfluous and irrelevant information, by combining the key logical and probabilistic patterns in data, and by finding the best representation for the knowledge. DataLogic can be used on your business or process data to:
How is it better than other products? DataLogic provides a combination of technical capabilities for reasoning from data not offered by any other AI product or technology. This includes the ability to:
What do they say about it? "DataLogic
models represent an extensive data analysis in the form of IF-THEN rules, which many users
have utilized not just to make classification on future data, but also to gain a greater
understanding of the patterns of behavior in their data. ... in some sense, DataLogic/R
reasons about data at a higher level of abstraction than other products. Its ability to
handle large numbers of input variables and its simple knowledge representation make it an
attractive product." "Summarizing,
this is a unique product on the market that could be recommended as a novel and original
framework for data analysis. It will be an indispensable tool for everybody interested in
pursuing applied research." "DataLogic
has some interesting advantages... Its rules are easier to understand than the
mathematical equations of regression or neural networks, it automatically eliminates
redundant data elements, and it can handle imprecise, inconsistent, missing and ambiguous
data."
